Bear Paw Lodge Main page

Bear Paw Lodge is located just 3 1/2 miles from Choiceland, right on Highway 55. The lodge is tucked away in a stand of pine and poplars and accommodates my family on the top two floors. Bear Paw Lodge guests are given the ground floor level as their own private sanctuary.
Guests have the choice of three different bedroom atmospheres.

Our recreation area houses a library, satellite TV with VCR and DVD and tons of movies and games. The dinette area has a microwave and fridge with complimentary popcorn and snacks.

Meals
Meals are customarily served upstairs in our dining room. Bed and Breakfast guests are treated to a choice breakfast with their stay. You can expect a varied menu with in season fruit from our gardens or local wild game sausage or bison burgers. We also can prepare meals for the rest of your day, by prior arrangement. We have an excellent restaurant in Choiceland, open daily throughout the week.

Outdoors
Patio doors lead to our outdoor entertainment area. We have a large covered patio with comfortable chairs for relaxing. Take a walk through our spacious yard. Stop to smell the roses, apple blossoms, lilacs or pick some raspberries for a quick snack. Bring a book out to the hammock or roast marshmallows over our fire pit. My flower beds and vegetable garden are constantly changing.
Feel free to pick any weeds. We enjoy our birds and have several different feeders and nests visible from the patio. Our resident dog Lieutenant Dan the husky cross that we rescued from the pound, and the playful kitten, Milo entertain the squirrels and occasional pileated woodpecker.
